The staff of the W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic strive to make your experience with us a positive one.  To answer some questions that patients frequently have, we have included some generalized information in this portion of the website.  For more detailed information relating to a particular physician on our staff and their office related questions, please follow the doctor's link on the "Physician Profiles" button on the left side of this page.

APPOINTMENTS

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:30 p.m.  You may schedule an appointment through our main switchboard at (214) 220-2468.  If you need to reschedule your appointment or if you will be late for your appointment, we ask that you call as soon as possible so that we can call patients on our waiting list.  Please bring your insurance cards with you to facilitate your appointment processing.

TELEPHONE CALLS

If you have medical questions, prescription requests, insurance inquiries or other questions that are of a non-urgent manner, you are encouraged to call the office during regular business hours.  Your telephone calls are very important to us.  Due to a high volume of calls to our clinic, your call may be referred to a voicemail.  All messages are answered as quickly as possible.  Telephone calls placed before 4:30 p.m. will be answered the same day.  Any calls placed after 4:30 p.m. will be answered the next business day.  If you have an emergency after hours, you may call the office at (214) 220-2468 and the answering service will direct your call to the orthopedist on call.

PRESCRIPTIONS

To facilitate the processing of your prescription refills, please call your pharmacy for any refill requests.  The pharmacy will in turn, call our office if they have any questions regarding your refill.

If you are requesting a new medication or one different from what you are taking, please call our office.  To process any new prescriptions efficiently, please have your pharmacy number available.
